Born in Belgrade on April 21st 1977
One of the best female vocalists on Serbian blues
scene.
Apart from being a singer she is also a radio journalist/speaker
and a voice in radio and TV commercials
She is the PR and the mother of the bend
As the only female in the bend, she took on herself
the responsibility to make shore that we are all packed
and didn't forget anything after a gig (Thanks Mom). back
Živko Gavrilović
- GUITAR & VOCAL ("Johnson" metal, style
"O" slide guitar and Fender "Bullet"
electric guitar)
Born in Sopot on April 27th 1978
Apart from his devotion to music, he is a student
of film & TV production
* Plays slide guitar using
a thick glass slide and wears finger picks on all
five fingers of his right hand.
* Usually tunes his guitar
to open tunings (G major and minor, E, D, C and various
combined tunings)
* It took lots of convincing
to make him start singing (We are happy we succeeded) back
Marko Čabrić
- GUITAR (1937 "National Steel Trojan",
"Regal" spider bridge guitar and 6-string
banjo)
Born in Belgrade on June 1st 1971
Initiator of "Bootleg Blues"
He lived in Israel for almost 10 years where he performed
with "Hayes Lazar Blues Trio" "Gazit
Blues Bend, Israeli guitarist Yaniv Arava and numerous
other musicians with whom he performed in clubs and
festivals all over Israel.
* Finger picker but also plays
slide (not nearly as good as Živko)
* He uses a thumb pick and
heavy glass / brass slides
* Uses open tunings: G major
and minor, E and D on guitar and DADGAD on guitar
banjo
* We tried to convince him
to start singing (happy we didn't succeed) back
Sava Ristić -
HARMONICA (blues harp)
Born in Belgrade on April 2nd 1970
He is the cofounder of "Bootleg Blues" and
one of the top harp players in Serbia
Apart from being a harp player and a blues encyclopedia,
he is also a professional architect
* Uses mostly "Hohner"
and "Lee Oscar" harmonicas and "Green
Bullet" and "Shure" microphones
* Performed with numerous
blues, rock and R&B bends all over Yugoslavia
and participated on lots of Yugoslav and international
blues festivals.
* Taking into account the
weight and size of his instrument, (even with the
microphone) he is usually also responsible for carrying
heavy equipment. back
Milan Ivković-BASS
(upright bass, acoustic fretless bass and electric
bass)
Born in Belgrade on July 7th 1971
He is a professional musician and amateur joke maker
(especially on tours and after gigs when we are trying
to sleep during the ride home)
In his 15 years of professional engagement in Blues
music, he performed with Yugoslav bends: Row Hide,
Barrel House, Blues Explosion, Beer Drinkers and numerous
international musicians such as: Dave Kelly, Ana Popovic,
Blues Wire, Ronald Abrams, Gary Sloan, Cleanhead Phil...etc.
He performed on numerous blues festivals in Yugoslavia
and abroad, and has several official releases. back
